Legal Requests

At Dinkr Messaging, we take privacy seriously. We only store information necessary to operate the Service, and we do not collect, store, or process personal data beyond that. However, we understand that legal authorities may require certain information in certain circumstances. This page outlines the types of information we can and cannot provide, as well as the process for submitting a valid legal request.

1. Information We Can Provide

We may provide the following types of information, subject to the legal requirements and limitations described below:

      • Account Deletion Requests: If a user submits a formal request to delete their account, we can confirm whether their account was deleted and the approximate date of deletion. We can also confirm that no personal data is retained before or after deletion.
    • General Account Status: We can confirm whether an account exists, but we cannot provide specific information about the user (such as personal details, message content, etc.).

2. Information We Cannot Provide

Due to our commitment to privacy and data security, there are certain types of information that we cannot and will not provide:

      • Personal Data: Since we do not collect, store, or process any personal data (such as names, emails, addresses, etc.), we are unable to provide any personal information about users.
      • Message Content: We do not retain any content of private messages, so we cannot provide access to or copies of any conversations or message data.
    • Data Not Retained: As we do not store user data beyond what is necessary for the functioning of the app (and we ensure all data is erased upon account deletion), there is no stored information to be disclosed.

3. How to Submit a Legal Request

To submit a valid legal request for information, please follow the steps below:

      1. Submit Through Official Channels: All legal requests must be submitted through the designated Legal Request Form on this page. Requests made via email, phone, or any other communication channel will not be considered valid.
      1. Provide Relevant Details: Please ensure that your request includes the following details:
            • Requesting Authority: The name of the authority or organization making the request.
            • Details of the Request: A clear description of the information you are requesting and the legal basis for the request.
          • Legal Documentation: Any applicable court orders, subpoenas, or legal documentation that supports your request. This documentation must be in accordance with Australian law.
    1. Review of the Request: Once your request is submitted, we will review it for compliance with our policies and applicable laws. Please note that we may take time to evaluate your request depending on its complexity.

If your request is valid and complies with legal requirements, we will respond in accordance with the relevant legal framework.

4. Invalid Requests

Any requests made through unofficial channels (e.g., email, phone calls, or social media) will not be considered valid. We are committed to handling legal requests only through our official process to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain transparency.
