Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 1, 2024

Who we are

Thank you for using Dinkr Messaging (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing a secure platform for private messaging. Our goal is to ensure that your communications remain confidential. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information on our platform.

1. Data Collection

We are committed to respecting your privacy and do not store or track any personal data when you use our app. We do not require any names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other identifiable information to use our services.

While we do store messages temporarily on our server to ensure successful delivery, these messages are retained for a maximum of 5 days. All messages are encrypted to ensure their confidentiality. Once the retention period expires, messages are automatically deleted from our servers, ensuring that no data is stored or accessible beyond the specified time.

We do not collect, store, or share any personal information related to your use of the app, and our goal is to provide a service that respects your privacy.

2. Data Use

Since we do not collect any personal data, there is no data to use, share, or analyze. This commitment ensures that your messages remain confidential and private to you.

We do not and cannot share or sell any user data, as we do not collect or store any identifiable information.

3. Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your account, please use our Account Deletion page available here. This is the only way to permanently remove your account, as we do not have access to any other personal information that could otherwise identify or assist you.

4. Updates to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted here, and the date of the latest update will be noted at the top of this page. By continuing to use Dinkr Messaging after an update, you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

5. Permissions for Calls

The “Buzz User” feature of our app requires permission to initiate phone calls on your device. This feature is designed to simulate a phone call, which will appear as an incoming call on the receiving user’s device. However, please note that no actual voice call will be connected, and no data will be transmitted during this process. The purpose of this function is to notify the user in a manner similar to receiving a phone call.

By granting permission for this feature, you acknowledge that the “Buzz User” function will trigger a phone call notification on the recipient’s device, without establishing a communication link. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data through this feature.
